The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) choose the Loan IQ product to facilitate their back-office handling of their portfolio of syndicated credits. On the first of July 2011, NBAD took the decision to go life.

Added Value Raven Consulting

This can be seen as a great success for NBAD, but also for Raven Consulting. Indeed, in less than 6 months, we brought a significant contribution to the NBAD project by building 2 of the 3 major interfaces between LOANIQ and the NBAD legacy systems: the accounting interface and the customer master file interface. For those interfaces, we covered all tasks, spanning from the requirements gathering, the detailed design, the development up and until the unit testing. In addition to this, we were also heavily involved in parameterizing and testing the payments interface (the third important one), allowing to transfer payment orders from LOANIQ to the SWIFT network. Raven also contributed to a variety of other tasks on the NBAD project such as: training NBAD staff, contributing to the migration strategy, contributing to the UAT strategy and providing end-user assistance.

The whole Raven Consulting team working in Abu Dhabi has demonstrated its great capacity to work as a team both with the customer’s staff and Finastra consultants. We also demonstrated that we were able to adapt to the local culture and that we could leverage our European knowledge to bring the project to a good end.
